Website Updates

It’s really quite amazing the things one can get done when house-bound by a demanding (albeit freakishly adorable) new puppy. Even if he does periodically gnaw at the corners of my MacBook Pro and slam his paws on the keys.

In short, with or without Brodie’s help I’ve finally tackled the long overdue task of updating my website. You know, the bits that aren’t this blog.

Gratuitous puppy.

With one exception, the Visual Portfolio is still organized much the same as before but now contains further images and installation views of The Plagues and new images of my 11-foot-wide drawing Pendulum.

The Writing Portfolio has also been expanded under the Reviews section to include the following published reviews from 2008-2009:

‘Fiona Kinsella: Chapel (rose)’, published in C Magazine (Spring 2009, pp. 43-44)

‘Synaesthesia: Art and the Mind’, published in Canadian Art (Spring 2009, pp. 107-108)

‘upArt Contemporary Art Fair’, published in MAP Magazine (Winter 2008/2009, p. 90)

‘Report: Toronto Queen West District’, published in MAP Magazine (Autumn 2008, 62-63)

‘Simon Starling’, published in MAP Magazine (Summer 2008, 72-73)

Also be sure to check out the updated About portion of the website, now with a biography to go with that updated artist’s statement. Oh, and an updated CV, because yes, I have had shows since 2006. Falling out of date can be so embarrassing sometimes.
